ako: did you just went out with me?

girl: why ask?

ako: kasi i never asked you before this night if you'd go out with me. 

girl: yeah.. kindah

ako: was it a date?

girl: what do you think?

ako: i'm not really sure kasi we never scheduled it or something...

girl: but still... this was the first time na we went out this late

ako: in a date-ish place

girl: a date-ish time and conversation.

ako: date-ish... 

 

awkward silence.

 

ako: so... how should we end this? 

girl: well... think of any cliche line

ako: bakit?

girl: kasi you'll never get a g'night kiss till you throw one

ako: good point... so you mean anything?

girl: think of something good naman!

ako: napepressure ako 'no!

girl: kuha ka sa kahit anong movie dummy!

ako: fine... i'll try...

 

*kuliglig* 

  [inhale... exhale]

 

ako: when we first bumped against each other, literally,

        and i heard you curse someone's mother in front of me [vehemently],

girl: ...

ako: i never thought that a day during that  warm summer could

        ever be followed by a splendid evening of combined

        spring and fall...

girl: ...

ako: but when you came, i realized that some things just happen.

girl: like what?

ako: shit happens.

        and you did.
 

 

girl: alam mo ok na sana eh...

       medyo kinilig na ako sa intro eh...
 

ako: well at least i tried being original in the first sentence...

        and famous naman 'yang ending line na 'yan!
 

girl: you're hopeless.

 

 [girl walks away....]

 

ako: so ano?! tayo na?! 

girl: ha?!! [shocked... went off-balanced]  

ako: hindi, i mean tayo na, alis na tayo...

 

 [girl screams.. @#$^%#&! Yuck! ano 'to?!]
 

 [i ran to her... and smiled when i saw her all grossed out]

 

ako: see?! ayan ang sinasabi ko!

girl: see what?

ako: it happened.

girl: shit!

ako: and it isn't that figurative now is it?

girl: damn it! pano 'to?

ako: you've just lost your ride.

        kalilinis ko lang ng car gaga.

girl: how about the kiss?

ako: you're hopeless
